JAMB Releases Results of 2025 UTME Resit

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the release of the results for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) resit. This follows a large-scale resit organized for candidates affected by technical issues in the initial UTME sessions.

Earlier in the year, JAMB detected serious technical malfunctions that compromised the integrity of the exam at 157 centres across Nigeria. As a corrective measure, the board ordered a resit for approximately 387,000 affected candidates .

The resit was successfully conducted between May 16 and May 19, 2025, and the results are now ready for release.

Candidates who took part in the resit can now check their results through JAMB’s official result-checking platforms, including the JAMB website and the SMS code result-checking service .

JAMB also emphasized that the examination review showed a significant improvement in performance, with many candidates scoring above 200.
